Expert and administrative work for the Ombudsperson for Children is performed in the Office of the Ombudsperson for Children. The financial resources for the work of the Ombudsperson for Children shall be provided for in the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia.
The Ombudsperson for Children has two Deputies:
Maja Gabelica Šupljika, M. Sc. in psychology, Deputy Ombudsperson for Children
and
Tatjana Holjevac, LLM, Deputy Ombudsperson for Children
Currently, the multidisciplinary team of the Office consists of three state officials and 15 employees with university degrees (ten lawyers, two psychologists, a pedagogue, a social pedagogue, a social worker, a speech therapist, an economist and a foreign language professor and political scientist), as well as four employees performing technical administration and accounting work.
